Very Vintage Quote Card

simply sunday Button150

GOOD Sunday morning to everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday weekend. We do not have any big plans as we are waiting the arrival of our new granddaughter.
This week we did get the counter tops on my cabinets this week...still lots of little things to do but I am loving my space!
Here are a couple of photos of the cabinets with the counter tops....

Like I said we still have a lot to do but we are on our way!!!
Now for Simply Sunday and my Vintage Quote Card.
ss may 29
ss may 29 full card
For my card this week I used my favorite Donna Salazar Designs Paper By GCD Studio’s, layer Spring in Bloom and attached a doily, made a flower from strips of Donna’s Antiquities paper line by GDC Studio’s and added ribbon leaves. I inked the edges of all the paper with Clearsnap chalk ink in Chestnut Roan then finished the card off with a quote from Donna’s Crafty Chronicles.
I hope you enjoyed and don’t forget to stop by and see
Heidi Blankenship
Terre Fry
and their fantastic Simply Sunday creations.
Stop back by Tuesday when I am a guest designer for Really Reasonable Ribbon!! Until next time….BE CREATIVE!!

The doily is from the cake decorating dept of my local craft store. On my blog post there is a link to Donna Salazars Crafty Chronicles ...that is where the quote came from! They are great!
