Love

This week at Papertakes the challenge was

“So onto this week and we have something fabulous to share with you.

From now on, the first challenge of every month is going to be an Anything Goes challenge so that you will have a free rein to do whatever you want and really get to create without any restrictions. Of course, it’s still a challenge so we will be having an optional extra but this is just what it says, an option only and you don't have to do it - only if you want to.

You can combine your work with other challenges but as always, could we ask that you don’t back link  and that you submit new projects/cards only please (thanks peeps xxx)

So our theme this week is

Anything Goes

and the optional extra is to add lace to your work (you can use paper lace or fabric – whatever you prefer)”

I choose to add lace….because lace makes things pretty and it makes me smile!!

For this challenge I used Webster Pages papers and Spellbinder’s Paper Arts dies: Classic Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite and Fleur De Lis Borderabilities® Petite. And of course it is adhered together using Glue Dots.

I hope your week is going well…I have been busy creating and I busy working on CHA projects but still have goodies to share…..until next time, have a creative week!

Hi Karen, what a pleasure for me that you found my blog out there in cyberspace!
Just lately I was pondering what crafty style to focus on this coming year and found myself thinking about using more die cutters and chipboards, so imagine my surprise and pleasure of visiting your blog. Your use of all my favourite papers and oodles of die cuts with such wonderfully stylish results that totally gets my creative juices flowing.
Congratulations on becoming a new designer for Best Creations!
I will be 44 this month and I too love quotes!
One of the other participants (from earlier in the year) in Dress Up 2010 challenge also loves quotes and thankfully she translates into English parts of her blog posts.I have looked and looked for her blog address and just can't find it at the moment but if I stumble across it in the future I will let you know her blog address as I think you would like it.
Lovely to meet you Karen - wishing you a very dream fulfilled New Year :-)

What a pretty and elegant card, Karen! I really enjoyed seeing you work your wonders with the Webster's goodies. Love the black and white color scheme and the strips of different patterns. Lovely flower, too.
Hope your New Year is off to a wonderful start, and wishing you all the best throughout this upcoming year. I'm looking forward to seeing many beautiful creations from you. :)
