The Wonders of Winter

The winter time has always had a magic appeal to me. The first flakes falling from the sky, the icicle hanging sparkling in the sunlight and all the adorable snowmen around town.

This layout I made to frame and I apologies for not being able to show in the frame but every time I try  to photograph it I am getting a glare…oh well.

snowman framed

For the “Framed Snowman” I used Basic Grey’s Jovial paper and Spellbinder’s Paper Arts dies. For the back ground I used Classic Squares Large, For the snowman’s body I used the Standard Circles Large and the snowflakes are Create a Flake 2. I used Glue Dots to adhere it together!

I love the way it looks sitting on its vintage easel.

Brew me a cup for a winter's night.
For the wind howls loud and the furies fight;
Spice it with love and stir it with care,
And I'll toast our bright eyes,
my sweetheart fair.

A very happy winter’s day to all…..may it be warm and full of creativity!…until next time…..

Hi Karen! I'm so happy to finally get through to your blog! I've been trying for awhile, but the link always took me to some weird error page. What a happy surprise to have it work this time. I've been missing out on your fabulous projects. I LOVE this snowman frame.....and I know what you mean about getting glare on photos. Works much better the way you did it.
